Battambangs Adult team's dreams shattered

The Battambang Province team organized and sponsored by SALT Academy travelled to Phnom Penh with high hopes to upset the favorits from the capitol. But just 2 minutes in the game a defensive error already put them one goal back. The rest of the first half the visitors looked quite well and created a few good chances but failed to put any numbers on the score board. Prek Pra- the team from the Premier Leauge in Phnom Penh did better and added 2 more goals before half time.

After tea the young and inexperienced boys from Battambang decided to go for it and were rewarded a penalty- restorying a sense of hope.

But with tired legs and heads it was the PP team then again who shattered the dream and scored twice again- sending the visitors home with not much to smile about.
